Shipping via Fedex We ship by Fedex ground, next day, second day, or 3 day select. We need a physical address to ship via Fedex (ie, no PO Boxes). Shipping Charges Shipping charges are determined by fedex by a combination of the weight and dimensions of the package. If a package has too much volume relative to its weight, it becomes "dimensional" and they charge extra for it. In addition, if a package is too heavy (eg, over 70 pounds) fedex charges extra for the package. If the actual fedex shipping charge is significantly higher than the amount shown on the order, we will contact you to let you know the amount (we will absorb small excesses). There will usually be 2 reasons for this: (1) The package is dimensional (eg, a 10 pound package could be charged as if it were 30 pounds. This is a big issue when express shipping is used. (2) If the weight of the order is over 150 pounds, yahoo can't figure out what the charge would be, because fedex does not accept such packages. Therefore it calculates 0 for the shipping charge. The shipping charge could also be significantly lower than that calculated by yahoo and we will only charge you the actual cost. This will generally happen when the total weight of the order is between 70 and 150 pounds, as fedex charges a premium for heavy packages. We package orders in the most cost efficient manner possible, and therefore never send out packages in excess of 70 pounds. Shipping via US Mail If we can only ship to you via a PO Box (or if you do not want to ship via Fedex for any other reason), we will need to ship via US mail. Please contact us and we will advise you as to the shipping charges. For Alaska, Hawaii and Canadian orders, we generally ship via the USPO, which is normally cheaper than fedex. Express shipments If you are requesting expedited shipping, please make sure you provide a phone number that we can easily reach you at so that we can call you with any issues on the order. Otherwise your order could be delayed. Also, if you can put in the notes section when you need for your order to arrive that is very helpful. International Shipments We generally ship international orders via the US Postal Service, either parcel post (4-6 weeks) or airmail (7-10 days). Yahoo will not calculate the shipping costs so we will contact you and let you know the charges for both methods, so that you can choose.
